The third Thor film, Thor: Ragnarok, has been filming in Australia since July 4th, and although we’ve gotten a few official casting announcements, there have also been a few surprises to come from the set. If you’ll recall, Ray Stevenson (Volstagg) and Tadanobu Asano (Hogun) were spotted nearby, indicating that although Marvel had never confirmed their return, the Warriors Three would be returning for Ragnarok. There were also a few set photos that seemed to tease a mysterious female character in the film, one many have speculated could be Death. However, the latest rumor is even more intriguing and appears to have stemmed from Empire Magazine. It seems that they revealed that actor Sam Neill, perhaps most famous for playing Dr. Alan Grant in the Jurassic Park movies, was on set for the filming of Ragnarok.
What’s interesting is that, when asked about his potential work on the project, Neill didn’t deny it. Instead, the actor played coy about the matter.
Unearthly. If that’s where I was. #ThorRagnarok ? https://t.co/7bfYyyy1Qr

It is worth noting that Neill has recently appeared in Ragnarok director Taika Waititi‘s Hunt for the Wilderpeople, so he definitely has an in with Waititi. Should Neill be in Ragnarok, what role would you like to see him in? Sound off in the comments below!
