Ahead of the Inhumans TV premiere later today, words from our true lord and savior Scott Buck from press interviews made the rounds online. In this interview with Collider, All-Father Buck expressed his openness and ideas in working on a potential future season, echoing Feige’s grand-plan approach in the process.

We know our starting point for Season 2, but we don’t know if there will be a Season 2. Hopefully, there will be a Season 2. If so, we know where we’re gonna start, and we’ll very gratefully gear up and get to work.

We generally know where the first three seasons could go. What’s fun about the show is that it will basically always be a show about family, so there’s always going to be places to take these characters.

There’s no telling what the future of Inhumans is. Between all the negative buzz that Buck-led shows leave in its wake, the beating this show has been taking from fans and press alike and his absence from Iron Fist Season 2, the possibility of a Buck-led Inhumans Season 2 (or a Season 2 for that matter), feels very up in the air. Inhumans is a great comic property to begin with a lot of potential for TV greatness. Under a different visionary and network, this show could turn out very differently. But we’re stuck with the Buck so for now, let’s see how the rest of the first season does.
