The Marvel Studios panel wrapped up last night at San Diego Comic Con, and as expected, it was an absolutely phenomenal presentation. After seeing our first glimpse of concept art from Captain Marvel, new footage from Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther, the Avengers took the stage in Hall H, and the hype started to get real. Leading up to the panel, we got our first look at a concept art poster for Avengers: Infinity War highlighting several of the Avengers, including Iron Man, Black Panther, Hulk, and several others. Given the track record for the two previous Avengers films and the fact that only a portion of the cast was represented on the poster, we assumed that this was the first of several posters that would make a complete picture when put together. Turns out we were right, and the third and final poster has been released. Comic Book Movie was kind enough to put them together, you can check it out below!

There are a lot of things we can glean from the completed poster design, but the most notable thing is that this poster gives us our first look at Chris Evans‘ new look as the MCU’s version of Nomad. As we heard from the panel footage description, he is in fact sporting a beard and looks a little worse for the wear. Another thing worth noting is that his suit is all black, but it’s a familiar design. If you look at his shoulder, we can still see where he’s ripped off the Avengers symbol during the events of Captain America: Civil War, and it appears he’s ripped off the star on his chest as well, so we’re left to speculate that this could be the a modified Civil War suit. He still has the shoulder straps for a shield, but whether or not he’ll pick up his trusty original vibranium shield is still questionable. Since we don’t see a shield in the poster, we can only speculate at this point. If he doesn’t pick up the old school shield again, it’s possible that we’ll see the new prototype shield we heard Happy Hogan mention in Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is most likely the energy shield version seen in the comics. At this point, it’s anybody’s guess.

What do you think of the completed poster? Do you think Cap will take up the shield again? Let us know in the comments below!
