Word has been mum on any movement behind the production of Sony’s Silver & Black film, with Gina Prince-Bythewood as the only name attached to the project. However, thanks to our boys from That Hashtag Show, we at least now know the film’s working title and its production designer. According to them, the film will go by the name of Tri-Border and its production design will be helmed by The Departed‘s Kristi Zea.

That Hashtag Show also adds that the production will not only film in Atlanta (pretty much home base for most of Hollywood’s biggest films) but will also head to Mexico for some on location filming. Sony seems to be going all out for their auxiliary Spider-verse with Venom well underway and Silver & Black soon to follow when filming commences on March 5 (to end mid-June). There’s no word yet on what kind of in-camera talent Sony is after but we can only that it’s as stellar as Venom‘s cast.
