When Yo-Yo actress Natalia Cordova-Buckley announced yesterday that there would be a surprise teaser at the end of tonight’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode, fans immediately began to speculate that teaser would be for none other than Spider-Man: Homecoming. It was something that would have made sense, especially with the trailer apparently set to feature ahead of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story when it hits theaters in a mere ten days, however, the actress was quick to tell fans the teaser wasn’t for a film, but instead, for something “small” and “fun”. This, naturally, led to most of us trying to think of the possibilities. A tease for the upcoming Inhumans series seemed plausible, especially with the series’ showrunner having been announced earlier today, as did the announcement of a Ghost Rider spin-off series. As it turns out, the big surprise wasn’t for either of those, instead, in a surprising move, it was announced that Marvel and ABC will be premiering a Slingshot mini-series beginning next week! You can see the teaser for the upcoming web series above. (It’s near the end of the season 4B promo.)

The series will consist of six episodes and will star Cordova-Buckley. Following the announcement of the digital series, ABC released an interview with the actress discussing the project as well as what it’s like to play the character. You can watch that by heading over here.
