Yesterday was a bit of a rollercoaster ride for Spidey fans. Tom Holland, Jacob Batalon, and Zendaya all took to social media to give their own takes on the titles which caused quite a stir online. Alas, the tomfoolery was just but a taste of what just dropped today. Sony has finally unveiled the official title for the third Spidey film: Spider-Man: No Way Home.
This, we can confirm. #SpiderManNoWayHome only in movie theaters this Christmas. pic.twitter.com/kCeI8Vgkdm

Surprise, surprise. They’re still continuing the naming convention of the last two films. For a seeming end to this first trilogy, No Way Home doesn’t sound as climactic or epic as the fan-favorite title of Homeworlds. However, it fits the thematic notion that Peter, having to deal with his identity now public, might just have no home to go to or that there’s no returning back to the life he once knew.
