For the third time this year, following Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far From Home has past $1 billion at the box office. However, more importantly, this is the first time that a Spider-Man movie has passed this milestone.
With new properties in the MCU coming next year, it’ll be interesting to see whether Hollywood’s most successful franchise continues this streak. The statistics certainly bode well for the box-office of next-gen MCU films but there’s always that air of uncertainty with each new property. That being said, we gotta keep that faith that Marvel can deliver with Black Widow and The Eternals.
