After making Marvel a perfect 3/3 for billion dollar box office returns this year, and becoming the 9th MCU film to hit that milestone, Spider-Man is swinging his way into our homes! A new report from Comicbook.com shows Spider-Man: Far From Home is scheduled for a digital release on September 17, which all but confirms a Blu-Ray and 4K Ultra HD release 2 weeks later on October 1.

The home release will bring over an hour of new features, including deleted scenes, cast bloopers, and the all new short film “Peter’s To-Do List.” This new short will expand on some trailer scenes that didn’t make the final cut of the movie such as an extended Iron Spider sequence and Peter’s Spider Drone making a return from Spider-Man: Homecoming. Director Jon Watts also gave some specific insight into how we’ll see our world traveler preparing for his trip to Europe.

It’s all the things he has to do before he goes on the trip which are going to Delmar’s to get a dual headphone adaptor and one of those European travel plugs, he has to go to a pawn shop to sell his Star Wars toys to get money for the trip, he has to pick up his passport, and he has to take down this giant crime syndicate. That’s just the to-do list for someone like him but that will be its own little short film that we’re going to put on the Blu-ray. There are some good deleted scenes.

With all the off-screen drama of the infamous Sony/Marvel split still fresh in our minds, and with no new MCU releases until May 2020, fans at least have the chance to enjoy Tom Holland’s latest solo adventure and we can now binge-watch the full and complete Infinity Saga any time we want!
