The first social media reactions for Spider-Man: Homecoming have hit the web, and it looks like Marvel and Sony have a bona fide hit on their hands. Spidey fans can breathe a sigh of relief, as the consensus on social media so far seems to be that Homecoming is the best Spidey film since Spider-Man 2. Critics have specifically singled out the fun tone, great performances (especially that of Tom Holland), and easter eggs and connections to the rest of the MCU.
