Just last week we finally got confirmation that Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph had been cast as the lead roles in Marvel’s upcoming Clock and Dagger TV series set to air on Freeform. Now, as filming for the show kicks off in New Orleans, we’re getting our first look at the duo together.

The new photos don’t give us a look at the costumes the two will be wearing during the series, but it gives us an idea on what their chemistry together would be like. The shots also closely resemble the shot Marvel has been using to promote the show, further emphasizing how closely these young stars resemble their comic book counterparts.

In a bit of news that might be related, New Orleans residents have been notified of a project filming that will include “a special effects sequence that includes simulated gunfire and a car crash.” It’s entirely possible that this is Cloak and Dagger, but it could also be one of the many other projects currently filming in New Orleans. Either way, here’s hoping that set photos will surface online soon and give us our first look at Cloak and Dagger in costume!

Cloak and Dagger is set to debut on Freeform sometime in 2018 starring Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph as Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson respectively, with co-stars including J.D. Evermore, James Saito, Andrea Roth, Gloria Reuben, Miles Mussenden, and Carl Lundstedt.
