Now that Agent Carter‘s second season has come to a close, we are only days away from the return of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The mid-season return, “Bouncing Back,” has shown us glimpses of new Inhumans that should be featured heavily during the rest of the season. Even as the show becomes more and more about super powers, it is still a spy show at the core.
In the 12th episode of the season, “Inside Man,” at least a few of the agents will get back to their roots. ABC has released stills for the episode that feature Hunter (Nick Blood) and May (Ming-Na Wen) going undercover.
I’m curious to see Carl Creel’s role as he is shown in one of the above photos, and it’s unclear if he is a part of the team at this point in time. Hopefully he plays a major role moving forward, and with the series just renewed for a fourth season, there is plenty of time for them to tell their stories.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns this Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
