We’ve already been teased before, but it’s now been made official. The cast of Runaways have announced that the two stars of Cloak & Dagger, Olivia Holt and Aubrey Joseph, will make an appearance in an upcoming episode Runaways. They didn’t say more than that they would appear, but the fact they made this announcement together on one of the Runaways more memorable sets might indicate where and when the episode takes place.
This also marks the first time outside the Netflix shows that two Marvel Television series have directly crossed over in such a manner; similar to the CW shows like Arrow and The Flash. They never had many crossovers in the comics themselves outside of the initial run of Runaways, but to finally see them interact will be a joy to see.
Season 3 of Runaways will release on Hulu December 13th, 2019.
