Spoiler Warning: If you haven’t seen Avengers: Age of Ultron yet, the article below could be considered a spoiler.
The mid credits scene for Avengers: Age of Ultron it a big one. It sets up Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 & Part 2, while also offering us our best look yet at the Infinity Gauntlet.
But perhaps most interesting thing regarding the mid credits scene is that, the Infinity Gauntlet we see Thanos retrieve? It’s not the only one that exists within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
If you’ll recall, the Infinity Gauntlet first appeared inside of Odin’s vault in Thor.

But the gauntlet inside of Odin’s vault and the gauntlet that Thanos retrieves from another vault are not the same one. This helps to answer the question many fans had regarding how he was able to steal the gauntlet from Odin’s vault without issue.
While speaking with Cinema Blend during the press tour for Avengers: Age of Ultron, Kevin Feige confirms they are two different gloves.
There are two different gloves. That was not Odin’s vault that you see at the end.
That puts two gauntlets into play come Avengers: Infinity War, and I can’t wait to see how that’ll play out on the big screen.
Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 hits theaters on May 4, 2018, and will begin filming late next year.
