As we reported earlier this week, season two of Agent Carter has officially begun filming. While there’s still plenty we don’t know, such as who will portray the villain Madame Masque in the second season, thanks to a new tweet by Marvel we at least know what Agent Daniel Sousa (Enver Gjokaj) is up to in season two.
When Chad Michael Murray‘s Agent Jack Thompson was confirmed to return for the second season, showrunners Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters went on to say that while Thompson had taken over the SSR New York office, he wasn’t in control of the whole agency. It was a nice little tease that no one seemingly picked up on at the time.
With Agent Carter set to move west – from New York to Hollywood – it would make sense that Sousa would oversee the Los Angeles office while Thompson would stay in New York to oversee the New York location. What’ll be interesting to see if the interaction between Thompson and Sousa with them both receiving promotions going into this new season, especially given their dynamic in season one.
Agent Carter season one will hit DVD and Blu-Ray on September 18th, and while there has not been a confirmed release date for the second season, it’s presumed it’ll run in early January as was the case with the first season.
As always, for all things Agent Carter be sure to follow along here.
