Ever since Marvel dropped that god-awful Spider-Man: Homecoming poster, they’ve been changing up their poster game and these two new posters are proof. Spotted right at the ongoing SDCC, these posters for Thor: Ragnarok and Black Panther are straight up killer. Check em out below!!
Let’s start with Black Panther. The poster gives us an incredible look at Wakanda from the vantage point of that bigass panther statue we saw at the end of Captain America: Civil War. It’s simple and powerful and showcases some of the technological advances of the nation. Like those aircrafts that would no doubt make the regular world’s look primitive. This is more in line with the simple one-sheets Marvel has been putting out in the previous years.

The Thor: Ragnarok is a bit busier and more reminiscent of the recent posters for Guardians of the Galaxy. Colorful, cosmic and operatic. There’s a ton to digest with the character placement too. At the center of Thor’s heart (and everyone else’s if we’re being honest) is the divine Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster. At the bottom is Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie. Above her is everyone’s favorite Loki. Behind Thor is Odin and a Bishop-looking Heimdall. On top of Hela is an armored Hulk ready to destroy more puny gods.
