Ever since Avengers: Endgame capped off Thor’s story with him riding off into the galaxy with the Guardians, the biggest question in everyone’s minds was, “Are they gonna be in each other’s films?” Well, while we’ll have to wait for the third Guardians film, it looks like we got the answer for the fourth Thor film. According to Vin Diesel via an interview with Comicbook.com, the Asgardians of the Galaxy will finally come together in Thor: Love and Thunder.

Vin also made sure to tease what’s next for his beloved role Groot and summed it up in two words: Alpha Groot. It’s hard to imagine how everything’s gonna fit it or what the hell Alpha Groot even means. Comicbook.com thinks Vin Diesel’s tease could mean the debut of the rest of Groot’s race or his transformation into King Groot.
Coincidentally, Tessa Thompson teased a couple of days ago that some new faces were showing up to the franchise and this could very well be the new faces she was referring to. Overall, pretty exciting news that potentially gives us an idea where to expect Star-Lord and friends.
