On Twitter, WWE star Titus O’Neil tweeted that he worked down to “…a leaner 41 year old 270lb Marvel character” and even mentioned that he would see fellow former WWE star Dave Bautista “soon”. There’s already been much speculation about what Marvel Studios movie O’Neil is talking about in this tweet, but the two biggest candidates are Captain Marvel and Avengers 4.
Captain Marvel is still announcing new cast members on an almost weekly basis and Avengers 4 will be entering reshoots this year, which could still warrant O’Neil’s casting and need to work down to a leaner build.
284lbs now 6weeks from today I’ll be ready for a Lifelong Goal 2be reached&I’m excited about the process to go down to a Leaner 41 year old 270lb @Marvel Character ?? With Captain Marvel still announcing cast members and only two months into shooting, it’s the most likely place we’ll see him since adding a completely new character during Avengers 4 reshoots seems less likely. He’ll probably be playing either a Skrull or Kree in Captain Marvel, considering the core conflict of the movie is the Kree–Skrull War from the comics.
However, here’s hoping that Marvel Studios surprises us by making him a Starjammer who ends up running into Drax down the road.
