Tom Hardy has taken to Instagram to let fans know that the upcoming Sony Spiderman spinoff Venom has wrapped filming. Principle photography began in Atlanta at the end of October, but Hardy and the rest of the cast and crew have also filmed extensively in San Francisco, which is rumored to be the setting for much of the film. Just a couple weeks ago, director Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) revealed a behind-the-scenes look at the San Francisco set, as well as the first official image for the film.

As the film now heads into post-production, we are hoping or more details to emerge, including a definitive answer as to where this film fits in the MCU and whether or not Spiderman actor Tom Holland will appear in the film as rumored. In addition to Tom Hardy, the film will star Michelle Williams, Riz Ahmed, and Jenny Slate, and is rumored to star Woody Harrelson and Tom Holland.
