The MCU side of the Disney+ platform is about to roll this year with both The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and WandaVision premiering. These two shows are just the tip of the iceberg since all of the other remaining shows are set to start production. One of the anticipated Disney+ shows is Tom Hiddleston‘s Loki. Not much is known about the other cast members of the show aside from Hiddleston and the  casting of Sophia Di Martino several months ago. However, a new casting call may shed some light on possible additions to the show.

Our good friend, Charles Murphy, recently uncovered a casting call from an unnamed Marvel Studios project and it hints a possible connection to the Loki Disney+ show. You can see the casting call below.

Male, 10 years old, British, Open Ethnicity, smart and brave with a sharp wit and life experience beyond his years…RECURRING

Female, 10 years old, British, Caucasian, in tears over a frightening situation, she relies on her intelligence and resilience to find a way out.

Murphy dissected the fact that the casting agency who released the call is currently working out in an office in Atlanta. He then deduced that the closest possible connection for this is the Loki series which is set to start production next month in the same area. Given the description of the casting call, it seems to be intriguing.

It was teased several months ago by Kevin Feige that this Disney+ show is going to be a full-on “time travel, man-on-the-run” show. This may hint to the possibility of Loki running into his younger self in an alternate timeline or the young Loki persona could serve as his disguise while being on the run from an unknown threat. The fact that the role is a recurring one gives a hint that this is not just a one-off and we could see this character pop up in several episodes. Either way, it will be fun to see the dynamic of a younger Loki interacting with an older one.

As for the young female lead, this could serve as the counterpart of Di Martino’s unnamed character. There was a rumor several months ago that Di Martino could be playing a female version of the God of Mischief and this presents as a strong possibility of that. We could not also take away the possibility that Hiddleston’s Loki and Di Martino’s female Loki could very well be the same character due to the known shape-shifting ability of the character. There is also a precedent that the female Loki character could be from an alternate timeline or even from the multiverse given the show’s confirmed connection to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
